When walking towards and into this certain Starbucks cafe, one has to be cafe not the trip up, the stairs. It is unusal to see a cafe on a busy street to have have a small set of stairs just before entering it. As a global fanchise, starting out from America, I'd have to say that the coffee is not as good as the coffee back in America.
The layout of this cafe is simple and common yet again. It can be quite crowded at certain times during the day, especially on the weekends. The lighting is dim, but not dim enough so that you won't be able to do your studying in the cafe. As students usually come by this cafe to do their studying, it is not the ideal place to be doing it since it is very open, and conversations bounce around the walls and echo around.
It is also popular for its coffee, but unlike my previous review of Gloria Jean's cafe (click here), it is also quite popular during breakfast, as they do serve a range of breads, sandwiches, wraps and salads unlike Gloria Jean's, which instead serves mostly pastries and desserts.
It is a family friendly cafe, and the target market is also young adults and above.
Rating 7/10
